ExxonMobil is a 25 percent co-venturer in the Gorgon Project, which includes the Gorgon and Jansz fields. The Gorgon Project is working to develop a world class resource, containing in excess of 25 percent of all of Australia's known gas resources, or more than 40 trillion cubic feet.
ExxonMobil subsidiary Esso Australia Resources Pty Ltd is the operator of the Scarborough gas field in the Carnarvon Basin, a 50/50 joint venture with BHP Billiton.
