ExxonMobil to Expand Yarraville Terminal Storage Capacity

ExxonMobil’s subsidiary, Mobil Oil Australia (ExxonMobil), today announced plans to expand storage capacity at its Yarraville terminal to improve the flexibility of its local refining and supply operations, which will also help meet Australia’s growing demand for transportation fuels.

Altona Refinery invests $9.5 million in pipeline safety

ExxonMobil recently invested $9.5 million to improve the safety of pipeline operations at its Altona Refinery. The project involved installing surge prevention infrastructure on the refinery’s crude oil pipeline, which originates at its Gellibrand Marine Facility in Williamstown.
