Jet fuel supply update

As operator of the Melbourne Airport Joint User Hydrant Installation Joint Venture, ExxonMobil can report that supply has now returned to normal from some of the impacted fuel distribution terminals.

This increased jet fuel supply chain capacity has meant that airline customer fuel allocations have returned to normal.

ExxonMobil has been a reliable supplier of fuel to Melbourne airport for over 50 years and continues to invest in infrastructure to support Melbourne Airport’s jet fuel supply chain. Current investments include construction of a new jet fuel pipeline connecting Yarraville Terminal to the Somerton pipeline and construction of a new jet fuel tank at Yarraville Terminal, which will increase the terminal’s jet fuel storage capacity by 20 million litres.
