Mobil renews its sponsorship of the Fiji Football Association

Last week, Mobil Oil (Fiji) (Mobil) announced it had renewed its sponsorship of the Fiji Football Association (FFA) at a press conference held at the FFA’s head office in Vatuwaqa.

The announcement was made by Mobil Oil (Fiji) CEO, Mr. Narongkorn Charusakwong.

In 2020, Mobil became the first oil company in Fiji to provide such significant support to the FFA.

Mr. Charusakwong said, “Mobil is pleased to renew our sponsorship of the FFA and is proud to get behind the development of football in Fiji as part of the FFA family.”

Mobil has been a supplier of fuels in Fiji since 1906 and is committed to being an active member of the Fijian community while providing the fuels Fijians need.

“We will continue to invest in maintaining our reliable supply of fuel to Fiji and meeting the country’s energy needs,” Mr. Charusakwong added.

The press conference was followed by a celebratory lunch hosted by the FFA at their headquarters.

The lunch was attended by representatives from Mobil and the FFA as well as representatives from the international football governing body FIFA, who were there to witness the sponsorship announcement.
