Connection March 2022

Welcome to the March 2022 edition of Connection

In this edition of Connection we take a look at some of the progress our Decommissioning team have been making as they continue to plan for the safe and effective removal of our non-producing facilities in Bass Strait.

The process of decommissioning offshore facilities is very complex and requires many years of planning. We’ve recently made some significant progress, chartering a multipurpose supply vessel to support works in the Gippsland Basin, starting with the Perch and Dolphin facilities, building on more than $600 million of early decommissioning works we have completed during the last few years.

With the COVID19 pandemic still influencing our daily lives in some way, we recently proudly supported the Victorian Farmers Federation to deliver Rapid Antigen Test Kits to Victorian farmers to support their ongoing delivery of food to Australians.

We hope you enjoy reading about this important initiative, as well as learning more about how members of our Australian Geoscience team are working to support natural gas production in Papua New Guinea, in this edition of Connection.
