Esso donates new emergency equipment to Sale Hospital

The donation will see the emergency department receive a new trauma stretcher, Pulse Oximeter and spine board extrication device.
Central Gippsland Health Service (CGHS) Chief Executive Frank Evans said this financial support means the hospital can purchase additional, much needed equipment.
“The Esso/BHP joint venture has been a generous donor to CGHS for many years allowing us to purchase this equipment for the benefit of our community,” he said.
“The team at Longford Plants are used to putting in long hours, solving complex problems and looking after the safety of one another, as are the dedicated doctors and nurses working at the Emergency Department of Sale Hospital.
“We are so pleased to be able to support for our local hospital and provide assistance for its life-saving work,” he said.
