Big Breakfast for Men's Shed

ExxonMobil Australia has continued its support for the Australia Men’s Shed Association, providing funds for a ‘Big Breakfast’ event in September open to all ‘Shedders’ on the Mornington Peninsula.
Long Island Point Plant Manager David McCord and Long Island Point Field Superintendent Ryan Andrews participated in the community event, held during Men’s Shed Week 2018, with David addressing attendees about the importance of community collaboration.

“Men’s Sheds do outstanding work to improve the health of our communities. This is why we are so proud to be able to support them. Their work aligns perfectly with our own emphasis on improving health and safety as an organisation.

“We have long recognised that improving the health and quality of life of our workers delivers benefits that go way beyond the individuals. It means improved efficiency of our operations, increased morale in our workplaces and greater productivity, which means we are better able to produce the essential energy supplies we deliver every day.

“The story is the same across the community. Better health outcomes deliver tremendous benefits for us all. I congratulate Men’s Shed for the excellent work they do,” he said.
