The Australian fuels team recently participated in the Brisbane Truck Show, using the opportunity to promote the growing Mobil network, as well as the benefits of Mobil Diesel Efficient and Mobil Card to a key customer community.

The show is recognised as one of the world’s leading industry business events and has been running for more than fifty years. 

“The Brisbane Truck Show provides us with an opportunity to promote Mobil fuels to some of Australia’s largest trucking and commercial transport companies,” said Bruce Sutherland, Executive Director of South Pacific, Mobil Oil Australia.

“Importantly, as this was the first show since we launched the new Mobil Card offering in Australia last year, we were able to promote the benefits of Mobil Card to this valuable customer base.

“We had lots of positive feedback from customers at the show, many of whom had noticed Mobil’s growing market presence across Australia, especially our increasing diesel truck-stop network.

“We also had lots of interest in Mobil Card, signing up numerous new customers at the show and more applications continuing to flow through.”

Held over four days during Australian Heavy Vehicle Industry Week, the show provides attendees from the Australian trucking community with the latest information on safety, sustainability, innovation and careers in the industry. Exhibitors must be a manufacturer or distributor/supplier of new vehicles, components, equipment and technology or provide services or products directly relevant to the transport industry.

“It was great to see the Mobil exhibit really stand out against some of the other exhibits at the event, including those of our competitors, and lots of interest from potential and existing customers in our quality Mobil fuels and Mobil Card offering,” said Bruce.
