Mobil Oil New Zealand Limited (Mobil) reached an exciting milestone last week, with the arrival of our first Long Range vessel at the Channel Terminal Services Marsden Point Terminal in New Zealand’s North Island.

The vessel, STI Lily, is 245 metres long with a gross tonnage of 63,000 tonnes, making it the biggest refined product ship to ever visit Aotearoa New Zealand. It is capable of carrying up to 120 million litres of fuel to achieve more efficient and reliable supply.

Andrew McNaught, Lead Country Manager of Mobil Oil New Zealand said, “Thank you to the entire team for all their hard work and effort over the past two years as we managed the signficant transition to New Zealand’s fuel supply operations.
