ExxonMobil Appoints Simon Younger as Chair

MELBOURNE – ExxonMobil will appoint Simon Younger as Chair of the ExxonMobil Australia Pty Ltd Group of Companies, effective on or after May 1.  Younger will be based in Melbourne.

MELBOURNE – ExxonMobil will appoint Simon Younger as Chair of the ExxonMobil Australia Pty Ltd Group of Companies, effective on or after May 1. Younger will be based in Melbourne.

Younger is currently Senior Vice President, Upstream for Imperial Oil Limited (Imperial) in Canada, which is a majority owned affiliate of ExxonMobil.  He started his career with Esso Australia Pty Ltd in 1997 and has since held a variety of roles with ExxonMobil affiliates in Australia, the United States, Qatar and Nigeria before joining Imperial in 2019.  

Younger holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tasmania.

Younger replaces Dylan Pugh, who has been appointed Vice President of Engineering for ExxonMobil Technology & Engineering Company in Houston, Texas.
