The detailed site tour was led by Operations Supervisor Paul Prestney and Mechanical Supervisor Matt Taylor and generated much discussion and questions from the students in attendance.
Longford Plants Manager David Anderson said that hopefully the tour has generated some interest in developing a career with the company.
“We have long developed and maintained strong relationships with local schools as part of our ongoing commitment to inspire an interest in maths and science education.
“Site tours, as well as our broader community contributions initiatives including our Bright Future Grants program, help us to achieve this aim,” he said.
