Building networks and growing opportunities

ExxonMobil Australia requires strong industry relationships to ensure we entrench ourselves as thought leaders and collaborate with the right stakeholders to build brand awareness and develop solutions to meet local energy demands.

A prime example of such a relationship is the association our Field Marketing and Lubes team has developed with Engineers Australia, which is Australia's preeminent engineering body comprising of over 100,000 engineering professionals at every level.

Field Marketing Advisor Philippa Penson said it is only fitting that ExxonMobil Australia should aim to actively partner with Engineers Australia given that our organisation is a strong supporter of engineering solutions.

“We are proud of our association with Engineers Australia which has enabled us to build strong bonds, support solutions to engineering problems and advance productivity through technology, innovation and expertise."

“This is done through event and webinar participation where we are able to showcase ExxonMobil’s capabilities and position our organisation via editorial content which draws on our local and international expertise. Our continued presence on Engineers Australia platforms ensure we position ourselves as a thought leader and share relevant news to an informed industry audience,” she said.

Beyond the engineering community, participation in a variety of industry events is helping to build further awareness of the Mobil brand. In August, Senior Automotive Sales Adviser, Aaron Incoll will take part in a panel session at the Mumbrella Automotive Summit on the topic of ‘How to stop traffic when you’re selling a necessity’.

“Networking and collaboration are the lifeblood of Field Marketing and Lubes and we are committed to being a visible, active and collaborative member of the professional communities we operate in,” he said.
