Connection March 2023

Welcome to the March 2023 edition of Connection

Last week, Esso Australia Commercial Director, David Berman, spoke at the Australian Domestic Gas Outlook Conference. David’s speech outlines the Gippsland Basin’s next phase of life and how it will continue to be a vital source of reliable energy for the Australian east coast, but at a reduced capacity due to our maturing offshore fields.

Our decommissioning activities continue to progress, and below you can read our 2022 Decommissioning Annual Report.

In this edition of Connection, we welcome Long Island Point’s new Plant Manager, Andrew Cooke, and meet Lucy Levecke, one of our Environmental & Regulatory Advisors, who details her exciting ExxonMobil career so far and the opportunities she has seized to excel as a young engineer.

Across our Product Solutions operations, Altona and Yarraville Terminals’ Safety Cases were updated with the sites’ Major Hazard Facility Licences recently reissued to 2027, and the Mobil team announced their continued partnership with Melbourne United.

We hope you enjoy this edition of Connection.
