This month, ExxonMobil Australia was proud to announce the launch of our scholarship program with TAFE Gippsland at their Port of Sale campus. As a longstanding member of the Gippsland community, we are excited to continue to work with TAFE Gippsland to provide educational and training opportunities for locals within the Wellington Shire, and help them develop the necessary skills for rewarding jobs.
In this edition of Connection, Ryan Turton, Wells Operations Superintendent, provides an update on the latest projects across the Wells team, including the plug and abandonment of the 100th well in our Gippsland Basin operations.
We highlight the career of John Bourke, South Asia Pacific Fuels Operations Manager for the midstream business, who talks about the global opportunities that have led to his current role. He recently attended the Western Region Council Bi-Annual Forum 2023, which you can read more about below.
Also across our Product Solutions business, Mobil and Melbourne United announced an exclusive multi-year partnership extension, and the Mobil team successfully delivers the largest ever fuel cargo to Marsden Point terminal.

ExxonMobil Australia recognised for contribution towards TAFE Gippsland scholarships program
Recently, TAFE Gippsland held a recognition event to thank ExxonMobil Australia for our generous contribution towards their ongoing scholarships program. ExxonMobil Australia Chair, Dylan Pugh, along with TAFE Gippsland's CEO, Laura Macpherson, presented scholarship awards to four recipients who will now be able to pursue their studies and further develop their skills thanks to our contribution.
